Lord Myslav Mladislavich Voronoff

Myslav Voronoff is the Lord of Kuznia and disputed head of House Voronoff. He is a skilled administrator, but a poor warrior who was passed over for succession in favor of his younger brother in accordance with House Voronoff's Highlander culture. His coat of arms is a crow holding three arrows in its beak over a blue background.

History

The eldest son of House Voronoff, Myslav was highly interested in various intellectual pursuits from an early age, much to the dismay of his father, who had once been the leader of the Stone Crow Highlander tribe. Despite his younger brother Myslav being a greater warrior and thus a more worthy leader in the eyes of his father, Myslav was destined to be the leader of his house as the former Stone Crows were pressured into adopting Gränslandic culture and practices.
Myslav proved his worth as an administrator when he was given control of the small smithing village of Kuznia, and was able to turn it into a thriving trade down over little more than a decade. However, after the collapse of order following the dissolution of the Rurikid Principality, Myslav was hurriedly passed over for succession by his father and the few remaining Stone Crow elders in favor of his brother Vasily, a capable warrior who was deemed more suited to lead House Voronoff in the chaotic times ahead.
Not a few weeks after the decision, Myslav's father died from a mysterious illness. Myslav was accused of poisoning his father in order to take over House Voronoff by his uncle Oleg, and was ordered to stand trial before the Stone Crow elders to answer for his crimes. Instead, Myslav called up soldiers loyal to him and prepared to defend himself and Kuznia, denouncing the accusations.

Recent Events

The party was sent to deliver a letter to Myslav by Saraslaw Velkov, who sought Myslav's allegiance in exchange for helping him triumph against Vasily and Oleg's forces. By the time the party arrived to Kuznia, Myslav was slowly losing the battle against his brother and uncle and had recruited the Vetrovnjaks and Iron Shadow mercenaries to his side.
After briefly considering Saravslaw's offer, Myslav accepted the terms and, as a reward for the party's journey through the warzone, gifted them money and fine-quality weapons and armor from his meager armory.
