Oramathea
The magic of sight, Oramathea encompasses all vision-based spells, ranging from vision enhancement to deception. It includes four submagics: Illusion Magic, Thaumapista, Thaumathea, and Chromamancy.
Oramathea is classed as Endoarcana, the category of spells powered wholly by the casting mage and their Imperium, without any requirements for external magical fields. The magic has proven useful for a large variety of professions across Vazdimet, from research to government to the entertainment industry.
Utility
Spells are classified depending upon their utility and limitations, and their exact effects on the vision of the caster or those around them.
Illusion Magic
Illusion Magic allows a mage to project a hologram or merogram of themselves or another target, copying or altering the target's appearance as dictated by the chosen spell. Some spells also use Anemancy to add sound, although this is considered a separate spell. The prevalence of Runework electronics has seen the field of Illusion expand to include everything from holovid entertainment to military communications.Thaumapista
Thaumapista is the magic of insight, tracking, and enhanced train of thought. It also allows casters to better cover their own tracks through the use of concealment. Overuse of these spells has been shown to result in over-reliance on arcana rather than one's own thought processes, but the spells have still proven useful enough in high stakes situations.Thaumathea
Thaumathea allows for vision enhancement and augmentation. Casters can improve upon their current vision and focus, or even add an electromagnetic spectrum to their visible wavelengths.Chromamancy

Oramathea is often taught on the job in support of a wide assortment of professions, from tailormage to advanced scout. Thaumathea in particular has found use assisting professionals to better view the world with an eye toward their specific fields of study, while the modern use of Illusion Magic has sparked entire industries and careers.
