Language by origin is divine for the Draelish, having been passed down from Aculus and Kykuun during the Song of Creation. The symbols used today sprang forth after centuries of favored script and word usage, though undoubtedly much was lost during the Cataclysm. The few words that survived were inscribed on tablets and steles which the clans gathered and continue to protect to this day, for they represent the few fragments that tell of what came before.
Naming Conventions
A Draelish's name is composed of three parts: a Personal name, a Family name, and a Clan name. An example of this would be Tarmac Achisadar Chasakkinei. The name "Achisadar" is the father's name, and is presented because Tarmac is male. Females would have their Family name reflect that of their mothers. Draelish take great pride in their clan's name, with the Family name rarely being passed down past the first generation, though some families do keep it intact if the ancestor was particularly notable.
