Rurashi

Rurashi was born during the Ancestral war. This was the first war where mortals participated, and it took place predominantly on the material plane. He was born because only then was there need for him. His domain was that of the dead, whose numbers where quickly growing. Rurashi was overloaded by his duty, and was scrambling to find places where the dead could rest without interfering with other mortals or gods. Only after the end of the war would he be presented a solution to his problems, when Espir and Kali worked with him to create the plane of Asphodel. Since Rurashi is the only god to have consistently remained in Asphodel to look after the souls of the dead.
