The Province of Corsta

A beautiful western island found during the Expansion Age after the end of the Angelion War ended. It is a tropical paradise with lush plant life, crystal clear waters, and vibrant life of wild animals. This remote island is also is also home to the Cacei, humanoids with bluish gray skin and long hair they keep in braids whose length signifies high status and wisdom. This island is under the control of the Trader's Union who has turned the island into a touristy location inviting people from all provinces on Varonia to come by to visit and stay at their hotels and businesses on the island. Though in recent years pirate vessels have been making travel far more deadly raiding tourist ships and eluding any big fleets that try to hunt them down. The island is under some political strain because of this as all the factions Varonian Empire, The Flock, and The Neutral Alliance, want their people to have safe passage and are egging on a egg to the problem. This stress on the island is compounded by political trouble in rulership on the island. For years their has been a joint rule between the Elders of the Cacei and representatives of the Trader's Union have had a partnership having a small democratic council to jointly rule. But the Cacei have been growing frustrated with how their home is being commercialized and a radical new elder coming in to replace one who passed away, a Cacei known as Bolovo "The War Hungry" Wiresy, a Cacei who wishes that Corsta should be a town in control of and run by the Cacei. He has said that the pirate crisis is just one of their many failings of the Trader's Union and is using that to gain political power.

Aside from politics Corsta is also home to grand wildlife like the Golden Shieker, a animal that is vital to the ecosystem of the island and what it is most known for. It is said to be a large bird with three sets of wings with feathers a goldish bronze hue, small golden tusks that reach about a foot in length, and small golden horns that are barely three inches long. They are fiercely protected creatures being a animal held in very high cultural regard by the Cacei as its horn and/or tusk shavings are mythical for curing a thought to be incurable disease that ravaged the island during the creation times. Even today these shavings while used for medicine the amount of shavings taken and used are very small as to not harm the animals.

The Island is also famous for a drink which got the island off the map when a Empire official reportedly tasted it and called it the most delicious thing in the world. Interest grew as the Trader's Union produced more which soon developed into a world wide market more a drink that was known as a Shiker Shaker. This drink is made from local fruits, sugar, and a small dash of shavings from a golden Sheiker. This drink is a local staple and one that was created by the Caceis ancestors for more ritualistic purposes.
