Cacei

The Cacei are some of the oldest beings in Varonia being created by not a god but a Primordial, that being the Primordial of Chaos one who like their name implies likes to cause chaos and they are one of the better Primordials as they are just interested in doing everything that exists instead of world conquering like most of his kin. This Primordial had crafted them in a state of boredom as they had wanted to make something that they had never seen before in their eternity of life. So he crafted them, big strong people with a inability to see. Though he made up for this by heightening all of their other senses to a ridiculous level making so that they can know everything that is around them even while blind. Their appearance is also odd having icy blue skin with strange marks that look like tattoos but are not. As well as a light blue hair that grows down in a way that its really only possible to do a ponytail. Speaking on ponytails for the culture of the Cacei is very focused on the ponytails as they are a symbol of pride for the Cacei with the longer a ponytail the more elder and important those Cacei are. If you are to ever cut your ponytail or have your ponytail cut, there hair is one of the strongest fibers on Varonia making it so only a certain blade held solely by the elders can cut it, so if this symbol is seen then it marks them as a traitor or outcast which is why those Cacei who are seen in mercenary type businesses never have a ponytail as the Cacei swear off violence other than in a case of self defense.

The Cacei mainly worship two gods in the modern days of Varonia that being Chaos, while technically not a god they still acknowledge him as such, and Helius the Sun God. Chaos is never directly worshipped as Chaos is not a god who wants worship as he just wishes to live life free and chaotic. But for Helius they have many temples which dot their homeland with frequency and they even have a holiday to celebrate Helius. That holiday is The Festival of the Last Sun, the last day of the year the Cacei will stop everything they are doing and celebrate having a great feast and party on the island that lasts until the sun rises the next day.
