The Dawnmatron

The Dawnmatron is the most commonly worshipped deity on Etraas. Thought to be the warden of the sun. The patron of soldiers, healers, architects and merchants. Unlike The Duskmaiden the temples of this God are luxurious, incorporating fine silks, art pieces and golden statues of The Dawnmatron.
Prayers to The Dawnmatron are spoken by soldiers before battle, and muttered under a surgeons breath while they operate on their patient.
The priests of this God wear ceremonial robes, white trimmed with gold and golden hoods. Part of the priesthood of this religion is to learn to fight and protect others. Paladins are a common sight in the temples of worship.
The Dawnmatron is usually depicted as a figure in white/gold plate armour wielding a large shield, and a sword coated in flame.
