Fireglass Mountains
The Fireglass Mountain range is the tallest in Etraas, and countains the tallest mountain Mount Dawnflame.
Fireglass has the cities of Xent and Kadesh next to it, providing both limited protection from the harsh climate. Both cities have mining operations within the mountains, regularly mining it for precious gems and metals—of which there are numerous.
In the past an old Wizard once operated from the summit of one of the mountains. He quickly attracted the attention of The Sons of Glory for attempting to mess with necromantic magic. After a great battle he was defeated, but it is said you can still feel the effects of the magic when there.
Mount Dawnflame stands at almost 20,000 feet tall, and is by far the largest mountain in Etraas. Due to its overwhelming size, there are many legends concerning it. One story says that at the peak lives a flower that can cure any illness. Another says that it is the home of the gods, and that from above they watch the mortals below. Although many attempts have been made, it seems that no one has successfully reached the peak.
