Weapons from different cultures
Many weapons exist in different forms across different cultures, with varying names and styles but fundamental similarities between them: for instance, most cultures have their own preferred style of longswords which go by different names. However, there are other weapons which are more specific to a certain culture and location - and although they can sometimes be purchased in large cities elsewhere in the world, they are still primarily associated with a specific place and group of people. The list below contains examples of these unusual weapons.
- The ball mace, chain whip, fire lance, great saber, meteor hammer and slashing circles all originate from parts of Lyansheng.
- Battle gloves are most associated with the Xestic Archipelago.
- The whip sword is from the Virivan kingdoms of Makarassam and Matanila.
- Gauntlet swords, push daggers, tiger claws and throwing circles are associated with various areas of Sadhanvar.
- Scimitars are originally from Bozkurlar, but are also very popular across the Deljani Empire.
