Galeforce

Powerful winds have been known to rip even the strongest of trees from the ground. With this spell, primal sages can channel the force of such winds to devastate an army or pull apart weak buildings. The biggest drawback is that this spell isn't discriminatory - it will hit allies just as hard as enemies.   This spell is one of the necessary building blocks for expert-level wind spells. A primal sage can't hope to create a tornado without first mastering the simple, straightforward gust of wind.

Effect

The caster summons a powerful blast of wind to push back their enemies or knock projectiles out of the air. Arrows and slingshots are rarely useful against a primal sage.

Side/Secondary Effects

If the spell is failed, a concussive blast of wind will shoot out in all directions, harming not only the caster, but everyone and everything in the vicinity.

Manifestation

Well, it looks like wind. As in, it doesn't look like anything, but it's possible to see what the gale is affecting. Pretty standard stuff.

Range
Average sages can cast the gale across a line of about 100ft, but the strongest are said to be able to tear apart a forest a mile wide.

Applied Restriction
As powerful a wind might be, it can't breach a solid stone wall unless it's used to throw items at said wall. The wind may also be affected by the weather and wind in the area, making the gale change directions just slightly (like a breeze may affect arrow trajectory).
