Fog

Not everyone has access to an alchemist to make them fancy doodads like smoke bombs in order to make a quick escape. So if you have access to a tempest sage instead, they can cast this spell! It lasts longer than a smoke bomb anyway. And it has multiple added benefits.

Effect

Call forth a dense fog to cover an area and inhibit sight and smell.

Side/Secondary Effects

For those with sage sight, this spell is about as bad as blinding them. Since sage sight allows them to see anything affected or created by magic, the fog fills their vision when using the spell. It forces them to release sage sight.
Along the same lines, it inhibits the ability of any sage or creature with a heightened sense of smell.

Manifestation

The fog looks like how one would expect fog to look, only on the thicker side of natural fogs. As it spreads, it swallows up ambient noise so that silence falls upon the area like a morning of fresh snow.

Does fog stick around when there's a heckin bunch of wind? No. So don't try this on a windy day because it'll be useless. Unless you also cast another spell to still the air. Or something. Get creative.
