Ser Redgar (a.k.a. The Bloody)

Ser Redgar is one of Richard the Protector's chief lieutenants. He leads the blackshields, Richard's personal knight company.
Born in one of the poorer districts of Dragonford, Redgar learned at an early age that violence was the best way to get what he wanted.
As soon as he was able he joined the Royal army seeking the chance for battle. He gained a reputation as a bloodthirsty warrior, and after the death of King Marius, he was one of the first people invited into Richard’s inner circle.
Redgar has earned his title we, and is rightly feared throughout much of the realm. Clad in the black armour of the Protector, he and his knights travel the realm silencing Richards enemies and hunting Dragonknghts.
It was Redgar the Bloody who slew Lady Orisira Steelfist at the battle of Wynstay. Lady Orisira had gathered a small army of soldiers loyal to the dead king and was attempting to build her forces.
Regard led his company into their camp in the dead of knight, slaughtering them as they rose from their beds. Redgard and Orisira met at the centre of the battlefield and exchanged blows. Lady Orisira was a tremendous warrior, but she was no match for Redgar and his hammer. After blinding her with a well-aimed fistful of sand, Redgar brought his hammer down again and again until the noble Dragonknight was dead.
