Silus Salvatore growing up was considered to be a lonely child, he had difficulties making other friends, not because of the lack of youth that was around him but that he was simply a creep. He'd always have pet spiders, always on him or around him. In his hair, in his pockets, just anywhere really. There was something about them that fascinated him beyond his wildest dreams often saying that they were incredibly beautiful misunderstood creatures. He'd collect them within a cave filling it to the brim with jars full of arachnids of all sorts of variation; learning the best way to breed them, what sorts of insects to capture to feed them, and most importantly how to harness their venom learning to create all manners of poisons and different alchemical concoctions. He was always considered to be more of the studious type within his family, but seeing as everyone had to do their part he would begin to ply this trade to the underground societies of assassins and cutthroats. He wasn't an alchemist in the true sense of the word, but he always felt he had a stronger connection to nature and thought his eight legged friends could lead him on his path. He'd spend years studying, concocting, and being one with his arachnid friends always looking for new ways to improve his knowledge on them. He'd attend college for a very brief time before finding out that there were even larger spiders within the world, and while he quite intelligent he wasn't aware of the other things that wasn't within his small world he had built around him. He wasn't the adventurous type but just hearing about the larger arachnids within the world made him want to pack up his things and join his sister on her adventure; more so upon hearing of his father's disappearance. While they weren't the closest of two it was still his father, and besides he knew he'd be safe around Mira being an experienced pirate of sorts. With his collection of spiders attached to him he'd set off with his sister to answer the call of Arthur Swiftwind.

Going along with his big sister on a quest... why am I leaving my room?! Let alone going out into the world!
