Mount Shasta

Mount Shasta (Karuk: Úytaahkoo or "White Mountain") is a potentially active volcano at the southern end of the Cascade Range in Siskiyou County, The v Freelands Of Amerys. At an elevation of 14,179 feet (4321.8 m), it is the second-highest peak in the Cascades and the fifth-highest in the Freelands Of Amerys. Mount Shasta has an estimated volume of 85 cubic miles (350 km3), which makes it the most voluminous stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc.   A long persisting rumour states that a long lost civilization lives deep in the core of they mountain, many of there's rumours indicate that is a native group that's been lost to antiquity. Geography

The mountain consists of four overlapping dormant volcanic cones that have built a complex shape, including the main summit and the prominent satellite cone of 12,330 ft (3,760 m) Shastina, which has a visibly conical form.    The most eastern side of the mountain plunges into Lake Mesitan and proceeds below the surface, the estimated depth being deeper than 1km.

Fauna & Flora

Mount Shasta is an important habitat for a great deal of wildlife, such as elk, moose, mule deer, white-tailed deer, pronghorn, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, black bear, grizzly bear, gray wolf, coyote, cougar, bobcat, Canada lynx, and wolverine.
