A white skull with hollow eyes that bare a darkness known only by the seven hells.

He bares the mark of Asmodeus on his forehead, the being that gave him the knowledge to reach lichdom.
Physical quirks
He is left handed, and walks with a cain due to one of his legs being crippled by placeholder during the @Placeholder , and because of the holy light that scourged him he was not able to repair it. He has a miserable hunched over posture when standing, and slouches when sitting.
Special abilities
His magic is unparalleled on the prime material plane. He is capable of casting the highest tiers of magic, and has even found ways to replicate lesser psionics. He is most known for a devastating spell that he crafted not long after he reached lichdom, and draws immense power from the plane of negative energy.
Apparel & Accessories
Adorning his frame is a dark purple robe with a pitch black trim. His cane is a magical rod capable of casting a myriad of spells. A ring adorns each of his long fingers, each of which with a different enchantment. His foot raps allow him to teleport and walk through walls.
Specialized Equipment
A horn that is capapble of blowing down castle walls. A vorpal blade that rots away the flesh of anything it touches. A pendant which allows him to instantly reform should his body be completely destroyed. Most importantly, his phylactory, is the The Great Underground Labrynth of Faz'narak Guzuul itself.

In life he found himself in a university for higher magical learning. An extremely private one at that within the Empire of Zon'Tala when the empire was but a kingdom. He graduated top of his class and made massive strides in the schools of both evocation and necromancy.
Mental Trauma
He is not sometimes reffered to as the Death King of Madness for no reason. He suffers from extreme psychosis and paranoia. His delusions are so deep that he believes that existence itself is an illusion. Strangely, despite this he still is obsessed with his quest to know all things.

A mind is seldom more brilliant than that of a Lich.
Morality & Philosophy
On the best of days his morality is "flexible". On most days however, he cares little for all life, the dead, and the undead. Torture, horrific experiments (both physical and mental), and waging massive bloody wars purely for the sake of learning about the military strength of a nation, or something as simple as the exact amount of time it takes for a zombie to completely consume its victim.
