Yen’lon is the modern Deity of Secrets and Magic. The child of Nepi’Orom. During the war of the gods that ushered in the end of the second age, Yen'Lon Remained Neutral between his brethren and the elder gods. Yen’lon is often depicted as a purple amethyst dragon or dragon born and less commonly as a humanoid with purple hair. Yen’Lon believes that knowledge is the right of all beings that seek it. Many temples to yen'lon double as public schools that accept all that apply. However, magic is only taught to the brightest of students. Clergy: The church of Yen’Lon focuses on education and most donations to the churches and temples are directed towards that end. Saints (Clerics): Saints of Yen’lon are often sent on pilgrimages to recover lost texts and knowledge from the ages of the past. When a saint returns with such a text they are often venerated to the head of their order. While on their pilgrimages the saints often educate those seeking knowledge when the opportunity presents itself and often saints will see a need for knowledge that is so great that they will abandon their pilgrimage to set up a new church in order to further educate those in need.
