Personal history
Adopted into a family of powerful mages Igrin had never felt unaccepted by his family, even when he chose to study at the temple of Yen'lon instead of at the mage academy where his parents worked and his siblings studied. Despite this Igrin had always felt there was a conflicting yet powerful connection between divine magic, from which he shared blood, and the arcane magic that his family practiced and his god presided over. From this feeling Igrin decided it was his goal to discover the nature of this connection, searching out saints and mages alike to learn from them.
