Personal history

Zeke Goldwater was born of noble ancestry as his father (Montgomery Goldwater) was the duke of the land of Kholdor in the Mazari and his mother was a beautiful and powerful woman of the name Grace Shadowstalker. Among all their children together, the couple only had the one son and several (3) daughters whose names are Fleur, Jeanette, and Vevienne. Of all of them Zeke is the eldest child. His father wished to have another son, however he cared for all his daughters as much as he did for Zeke. Unbeknown to the remainder of the kingdom, Montgomery has been sleeping around with one of the peasants of the kingdom. Grace was able to identify of this happening due to her connections and began her plan to rid the kingdom of Montgomery – as she despises being lied to and deceived. The woman that Montgomery was seeing is a woman of Elvish descent named Estel Searsunder ; and had a son birthed with the name of Avon Searsunder.   Grace is the leader of the largest underground thieves’ guild in the town.   Grace also had Estel and Montgomery killed off by use of her guild of thieves. The assassinating group had a human woman of the name of Nessa Godfree whom took in the half-elf child for herself and cared for him. Nessa gave him her own name to protect the child and taught him to defend himself with both intellect and with combat.

Who framed the druid?

As we finished with after-battle preparations after the encounter with the orcs, we rallied up the town to help us in the battle before we headed off.   We all gave an eloquent speech where we lit the fires in the hearts of those whom lost their homes to these beasts... As we all took the podium and received cheers from the townsfolk we headed off to feast before we decided to call it a day.   The next morning, I was awoken by the centaur guard at our door. They wanted Navere. I asked them for what they wanted our companion for, and to my surprise, they said he was wanted under the grounds of murder on Jadenka. My heart sank as I had much regard to dearest Jadenka in becoming one of their own most respected leaders. After waking Navere, they carried him off to the town center where he was shackled and gagged.   I owe it to myself and my companions to preserve their life, so I began investigating.   In his belongings I found a bloodied dagger. The first thing that came to mind was that he was either being framed, or he actually did it. If he was being framed, I must find who did this. If he actually committed this crime, I was willing to hold this piece of evidence and prove his 'innocence'...   We all set out separately and attempted to find clues of what happened exactly.   Once we started to regroup to get our evidence together, Artemis was attacked. We all ran to assist, but by the time we got there Artemis finished off the creature that attacked her.   After investigating it, we noticed that this creature was able to shape-shift and normally worked for the orc tribe as spies. We were able to explain the situation to Molgnar's brother and he agreed to help us. But, shortly after this we got news that there was another murder committed... This time it was Molgnar himself and it was under the use of my own appearance. He was shortly after named the new chief were he pardoned us.   However... What will we do now?

Weaving together the threads of fate

3-13   Once we returned to the Ironwood Shore and fulfilled our duty, we finally had a moment to catch our breath.   Artemis disappeared and went off somewhere without saying a word. I do not question her choices, I just value those who follow me to achieve my goal more than those whom do not.     Once we headed into town, I was set to find a potion merchant. The purpose - poison. Peppermint followed me along, it seems like they had business to do for themselves as well. Inside the potion shop, we found a large assortment of radiant and colorful potions that swirled around in their individually shaped flasks. As I stepped forward towards the counter and looked down, I met the shop keep who was named Lillian. After exchanging coin, I got the tools I needed to do alchemy of my own. As well as information on where I can extract poison from a species of giant wasp nearby.   Peppermint was able to purchase some potions, after which, they began acting very oddly. It does not seem like Peppermint is well versed with speaking or understanding others as well as other races. However, I learned to value this companion with their dedication to help achieve my goals.   3-14   Peppermint and I went to seek council with the Arch-druid of the Ironwood Shore. It was very quickly apparent that we interrupted a conversation between one of their allies and was not taken well. After meeting eye-to-eye after seeing that we were all looking for the same thing, we were able to establish an alliance and a plan to pursue our goals of ridding the land of these orcs.   I was not fully content that they will be drafting a good part of the refugees that the druids have saved as I am not keen to forceful work. However, all is fair in war. I will agree and pursue my agenda to help those whom lost their land and livelyhood, all while spreading my renown across this land.   Prior to heading back to the group of adventurers that are with me, I stopped by to give my farewell to Lillian and thank her for her assistance. I helped her out in her shop, as I knew that because of this time of war the people of this town are preparing for the upcoming battles. Afterwards, she extended her assistance towards me and I know I have a place I can make some coin if anything were to happen.   3-15   We reached the hill where we found many wasps. With the assistance of Navere's magic and Kailey's axe, we made good work of them all. I was able to get several flasks of their poison and I feel like we are now properly prepared for what comes ahead.   3-17   Dearest Mother, as I tread down this path I will take the training you have bestowed upon me and conquer any and all insecurities. I look forward to the day we meet once again.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire

We have found the odd beings that have been taking all of the villagers and traders in the area.   Their true names are "The Deep Ones" and they are performing religious ceremonies to convert the humans into... whatever they are. The fate that they fall into is far worse than I could have imagined.   This cave... it's so very dark, damp, wet and cold. I can just only make out the outlines of these things inside and the breath in front of me.   We found eggs. The glow in an ominous way and I cut one open, a human-like abomination spewed out gasping for air only to perish soon after. It seems like there is no salvation for these "people".   After much blood and sweat, this group of adventurers and myself have been able to clear out the land of these monsters. It is time to collect our bounties and the proper respect of this town to assist us in our pilgrimage of ridding these lands of these enslaving orcs.   I feel powerless in not being able to save those in the shells of those eggs. One day all of this land will know my name as part of the governing people and the powerful families of this world. And, even these creatures will quiver to the sound alone of "Avon Godfree".
