Winterfold Inn

The inn is the only one in Meda. It's know for being the only decent inn outside the Ionian Empire and it's innkeeper is Serice Winterfold is a towering woman of 1.95 m. Black skin and hair, muscular build and a smile and hot beverage to anyone seeking respite at her inn. Her hospitality and the lack of competition have made the inn being known throughout most of the empire.

Purpose / Function

The inn is the only place in Meda where travelling merchants and other visitors can get a good nights sleep.

Architecture

A 4 story high house, first floor houses the tavern and is made of stone up to the large windows. The rest of the floors is made of wood and have some smaller windows inlaid for the finer rooms. Outside the entrance hangs a well-made sign of a bed and a tankard to signalize what it is.

History

This was one of the first buildings built in Meda and it begun as a small house with only 1 room with two cots for renting. Since then the inn has expanded to one of the biggest buildings in Meda, with 4 floors and a total of 20 sleeping spots.

Tourism

20 sleeping spots might seem excessive for such a small town but as the only inn, it is made to house any and all trade caravans who manage to make their way to Meda
