Human

Background

Under the umbrella of United States and its first female president Michelle Obama, a massive spacecraft USS Argo was launched into space. The US has developed a groundbreaking technology allowing to sustain thosands of people in cryosleep capsules. This was done to preserve the resources until humanity discovered a place they could settle in. One genius engineer and planetary scientist, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, was left to pilot the ship, while maintaining 2343 capsules and looking for a suitable planet to land on. In order to prolong his lifespan indefinetly a cloning technology was used, where his mind was being downloaded into a new artificially made body once the original was deemed too old.

Neil has continued his cycle of rebirth over thosands of years carefully documenting his time on Argo until re-establishing contact with the remaining humoid races and with their help starting to work on his millenias long project - Utropia. After considering many factors he has decided that instead of settling down on a new planet that has its own established ecosystem, potential predators and diseases, he would engineer a new one from scratch. He perfected his creation making it a safe self-sustainable haven for humanity, even building in an asteroid detection program that would help us avoid the threats from the outer space. The planet was made into a giant magnet and should not develop any life outside of controlled zones such as farms and agriculture fields. Everything including gravity, the air we breath and all the resources we produce would be monitored and adjusted to our needs.

It took some time to convince the remaining races to work together, but eventually Neil's efforts paid off and Utropia has been made. It was time to wake up the remaining humans from their long cryo sleep.
