Halflings are smaller bipedal humaniods, often with semi-pointed ears. All members of the species lack a digit on each foot and often lack a similar number on their hands.

Halflings reproduce sexually, with a similar gestation period to humans. Pregnancy usually lasts nine to ten months, with twins and triplets common.

Similar to Humans, Halflings are fairly helpless for the first five years of their life, though they reach sexual maturity much sooner, with puberty starting around 8 to 14 years old. They are considered adults at about 20 years old.
