Urth

Kage no Maou-Chan is a series of campaigns set on Urth, the world in which the TTRPG System Shadow of the Demon Lord is predominantly set.   The many worlds of the cosmos are imperiled by the looming threat of the Demon Lord, a god-like entity of pure evil trapped within the Void just outside of reality. Despite being contained within the Void the Demon Lord is able to spread its malevolent influence across planets, twisting reality and corrupting the inhabitants until naught is left but desolate wasteland.   Urth is one such planet, and is the newest Victim of the Demon Lord's power. Home to a myriad of races, ranging from the typical Humans and Halflings, to the immortal Fae and the mechanical Clockworks. The world of Urth is also inundated with all manner of dark and twisted creatures, from the mindless dead to wild beasts and twisted monstrosities. Corruption and Madness lurk around every corner, just out of sight, until it's too late.   Campaigns ran within the world are not treated as alternate timelines, the actions players make have real consequences on the game world both in the current and future campaigns. An evil being let loose might become the antagonist to an entirely different group of adventurers to the one that failed to prevent their escape.
