Ruinshine

Once a lush and peaceful community known for its science, literature, and historical records, this island became barren and toxic when pollution and poor farming practices left it uninhabitable. Powerful earth creatures used their magic to separate this community's land and left it drifting off to become an island off of an island.

Geography

Plains and farmland that's surrounded by seawater, located on this somehow stagnant island is the temple of the once ruler named Pharoah Makt. Just a short ways from this temple is a village where the people lead peaceful lives. While the agriculture of this particular location was never impressive, it did sustain its people and their lives.

Fauna & Flora

This land was once used for growing corn and wheat and was home to some livestock that the village people had kept for themselves, but when the Pharoah had begun studying magic he had introduced certain earth-related magic into helping them farm better. This did enrich their farming immensely but they began to grow too dependent on the magic providing their food and resources to the point that when the Pharoah had become selfish with his power and stopped those who had performed magic and refused to perform the spells they needed to thrive the plants began to wither and die. A small few had decided since the Pharaoh had forbidden floral magic, that they would instead attempt necromancy in order to bring back the land. A lack of experience with such dangerous power had caused the opposite effect and instead, their crops began to put dangerous toxins into the air that left it unbreathable and toxic.

Natural Resources

The natural resources of this island were once it's fertile soil for growing crops, but the area can no longer sustain any resources that aren't riddled with toxicity.
