Personal history
Nala had a memorable childhood, one she'd wish she could forget. She was a tiefling born in the slums of Cartha to a human mother and father. Before she was even able to understand why, she was already on the run, trying to stay alive and hidden from The Hunters of Old. As she grew older she slowly learned of her heritage, both the noble title her family was given and the pact that was made which caused her and some of her siblings to take on demonic forms.
Her mother, Nerah, died when Nala was still very young. Over the course of many years, she lost 3/4ths of her family, all of which were at the hands of The Hunters. One day, she and three of her younger siblings came across a group that called themselves the Black Dawn. This group offered to help them, and a few others, get to safety and board a ship to escape this wretched place.
On the Ship, Nala met a man by the name of Darron Medir, who she didn't pay much attention to until her magic went out of control, causing a massive storm that eventually brought the battered ship to Anderall. After the storm faded and everyone was rescued and accounted for, Nala and Darron slowly became friends. Seeking to escape the beach the duo headed through the Umberhold forest, where they unfortunately separated. Nala ended up taking refuge in an abandoned shack with weird symbols scrawled all along the floor and walls.
She was found a few months later, by a traveler, on the floor of the shack laying unconscious in a pool of blood and tightly grasping onto an old journal. The traveler brought her to Glaivefjord where she was treated and ultimately reunited with Darron.
