Thousands of years ago, two lover gods known as "Contrast" created the god Xodur as the embodiment of pure good and the god Isyn as the embodiment of pure evil. To balance out their entities of good and evil, Contrast created the god Ezmos as their arbiter. Then came Koros as the embodiment of love, Akaris and Uddite as the two sides of war, Ruvas and Siros as the gods of pleasure and leisure, and Siien as the god of secrecy and poetic justice. After Siien was created, Contrast disappeared and left Ezmos as the overgod.

Tenets of Faith

The only tenets of the Church of Isyn are that there are no tenets. The world was meant for unadulterated chaos and disgustingly selfish hedonism with no regard for others. To take without giving is to be.

Sects

The most notable sect of the Church of Isyn is the Crimson Circle. You can read more about them here. The Church of Isyn is divided into many sects purely because worshippers cannot agree on what Isyn's ideals are. Isyn leaves their tenets up to wildly vague interpretation on purpose just to watch their followers fumble and kill each other because they simply find it amusing. The sects are often divided over what colors they wear or what their churches should look like or what the church leadership should be structured like. As such, many sects of Isyn are specifically region-based because sects from two neighboring towns can believe in two different ways.
