Personal history
Wen Huizhong was born in the village of Xi Yun in Glaiji. She enjoyed a relatively normal childhood, but after learning the history of Glaiji from her village elders, she aspired to become both the most acclaimed swordswoman in Taegrith and the strongest general in the land all to protect Glaiji from all who wished to invade. When she reached adulthood, she set out of Glaiji to earn her name as a swordsman.
In her 30's, she fought in so many duels that she learned the name of her spear, called Earth Shatterer. Her acclaim as a swordsman led her to her title as a general in Glaiji.
During the second Wild Hunt, General Wen was outside of the country on an expedition. Her wife at the time was still at home in Glaiji, and although she was able to help General Liir in Zeclauria, the unseelie invaded Glaiji and unfortunately took the life of her wife. She was so heartbroken that she promptly retired.
For years, she grieved over the death of her wife. However, when the Akaris Military Academy opened its doors at the end of 14 EE, the Grand Duke of Egostead sent her a letter commending her efforts in the Wild Hunt and inviting her to teach her ways at the Academy. She gladly accepted.
