Dragonkin

A species close to naturally immortal, most stop aging making them look anything between 20 to 50 human years. Racial affinity with magic, Especially Life and Elemental magic.
These ancient dragon settled an island not too far away from the portal they came here by. Building magnificent cities in the sky, away from the prying eyes of elves and men.
Leading their lives in their floating cities, contemplating and striving to find a place for themselves in this foreign world. Farming and fishing quickly became the profession of most. The Elders, unable to revert to humanoid form reside in their great towers, ruling their people with wisdom and strong wings - determined to bring on a new dawn for their lost tribe.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Skin tends to be human or elven in color, some bearing beautiful pigmented markings in their face and/or body which might glow when tapping into Arcane energies. Head often adorning horns, though smaller than the Ehrdane. Some have bony protrusions from joints like elbows, shoulders and from the nape of their neck and a bit down their spine.

Biological Traits

Natural shapeshifters, they can shift into dragons, the older and stronger in magic they are, the bigger their dragon selves get. As years pass and they spend more time as dragons it might become hard to revert to humanoid form. Some loosing the ability altogether.
