Centaur
The Centaur evolved from the Dryad millenia ago.
Growing larger, more physically tough while loosing their connection to nature and the tree's the Dryad depend so much on.
They're a tribal people, roaming the rough Dust Plains of the southwest as nomads. Hunting and fishing in the few streams and lakes that can be found. There are a couple Centaur cities, and a few villages where they've taken up farming. The average Centaur though, is too restless for that kind of life. They're brash and quick to act, and hate to play intellectual games. You can expect them to tell it as is, no less, no more. They're quick to anger and quick to calm down. Their roughness might look violent to an outsider. Their society remarkably equal among the sexes.
