Session 023: Third Test & Back to Suskillion Report
General Summary
The third test ahead of Midnight Squad they planned to use grenades & place them around the beasts, as their plan B. As the condition for succeeding on this trial was to get the four dinosaurs into the portal where the priests of Hylax would take care of it.
Fumbles took the spec armor collected from the Research facility.
Using the purple aeon stone he planned on riding one of the dinosaurs into the portal.
Fumbles for the dinosaur to the portal & the rest followed suit.
They came through the portal & Tuvah congratulated them & told them that they have passed.
She spoke on how she thinks that they are the ones that Hylax told her of. Through visions. She mentioned the difficulty inherent in communicating with the divine. She likened it to a three dimensional being speaking to a two dimensional being.
She said that she needs an hour to complete a ritual using the Crown of Hylax to bring Midnight Squad into the swarm psychic commonality, into the telepathic bond of the section of the swarm that's been invading.
Some of the clerics gave Midnight squad gear, some from their past days as adventurers, some that were given as offerings, & some that were found on planet.
They were given ten explosives with detonators attached, & the locations to place them.
Crasian took three & the rest of Midnight Squad took one each.
The first location was primed by Fumbles & Crasian, both were detonated collapsing the tunnel.
The Second location was primed by Rivet & Crasian & detonated, collapsing the tunnel.
