In theory, Highground has a mayor and city council. In practice, the city is dominated by Duchess Destil Pando.

Industry & Trade

Highground is the only major spaceport on Greatstone. It is also the seat of the planetary government and Union business. As the largest city, food and minerals come in, and secondary and tertiary goods go out.

Architecture

Highground resembles nothing so much as a ramshackle Tower of Babel.

Geography

It lies on a hill. It is dry by human standards, but wet by Greatstone standards.
