Undmor

The surface is dead.   Driven by greed, pride, and fear, the races and nations of the world waged war against each other. During this age of madness, wizards and sorcerers, once shunned and feared, were used as weapons by reckless tyrants and foolish kings. These spellcasters burned armies to ash, leveled mountains, and raised armies of abominations. Then one shattered the sky.   The surface is dead.   Before the cataclysm came, the Dwarves had retreated into the Deepholds, sealing the entrances as they had during conflicts before. But this time, when they emerged again, they found only an inhospitable wasteland... and the monsters that inhabited it.   The surface is dead.   Now all that is left to them is the Undmor: the underground. Twisting caverns, lost holds, and eldritch horrors imprisoned long ago. According to legend, it all once belonged to the Dwarves. If they are to survive, it must be reclaimed.   The surface is dead. But we will survive.
