The beginning of a trio of friends who would never abandon each other.

[Avoiding writing all the story details here until I actually start publishing chapters and short stories]   It was on the first day of a new year that the Faust family had finally traveled to the Island of Tod, and more specifically the a portion of Middle Ground in Veritas. They had moved to the island to provide support for a family friend who was just married to a native of the island as well as another family that moved years before as support.   When arriving at the Gladius Estate Sebastian Faust, the youngest son, was ushered into a large and empty ballroom to meet the other kids. It was here that we met the Clarence Lux, and the Gladius Triplets; Cantionis, Fyglia, and Kul, all of who were sitting around a piano messing with the keys and laughing.     Upon Sebastian's arrival to the piano two of the triplets, Fyglia and Kul, escorted themselves out to get drinks and snacks for everyone. This left Clarence and Cantionis to offer a spot on the bench to Sebastian and continued to play. After a few poor jokes and awkward laughter Cantionis offered to teach Sebastian how to play a melody, to which Sebastian proudly showed off his expert skills on the piano, leaving more laughing fits to erupt from the group.   Sebastian noted that the only triplets hadn't returned yet, to which Clarence explained that they like to make everything fresh so it takes some time, and how this is how he and Cantionis had gotten so close. Another hour or so passed before the triplets returned with snacks and drinks, only for them to leave again on a request from the father.   Cantionis, who had grown bored over this period, led to boys to the backside of the house which was covered in both flower and vegetabe gardens, as well as trees as far as the eye can see. While they walked through the garden Cantionis pulled a small book and pen from a bag she carried around and sat on the ground to sketch the scenery, which made Sebastian curious and Clarence amused.   Sebastian eventually learned that Cantionis loved to study and document the progress of certain plants, and the trio began to deviate away from the designated path in the garden to follow a brook side. At some point in time the boys started to make dares, such as jump over the brook or balance a bunch of rocks on top of each other. One particular dare was given to Sebastian to climb a tree and hang upside down from any branch.   As Sebastian went to hang upside down the branch he was on began to bend under the pressure, and caused him to fall directly over a boulder and cut a portion of his nose. Clarence rushed to help him up while Cantionis gathered stray supplies from her bag and began to assist and clean up the injured boy's face, while she tried not to slip into the brook. After Sebastian was tended to, and Cantionis pulled out left over snacks, the trio ate in silence before they all laughed at the event that just conspired.   Clarence was to first to say anything, as he made a comment about how the three of them would be able to make a plethora of adventures and stories should they stick together. Cantionis nodded eagerly, and washed her hands in the brook. Sebastian dubbed the group a 'trifecta of bad decisions and good response', where Cantionis simply wrote 'Trifecta' over a rushed sketch of the three of them next to the brook with the broken branch.
