Central Provinces
This describes the area comprising the First, Sixth, Seventh Eight and Ninth regions of the Empire. Collectively south of the Verstite mountains and North of the Andean River. They are some of the most fertile and productive areas of the Empire and widely regarded the safest. The Legions whom patrol this area are generally some of the most veteran troops and most disciplined.
The capital city Lindum is also part of the Central Provinces.
Geography
The central provinces are characterized by being particularly flat with nice smooth rolling hills across the area, this has lead to it becoming a center of food production and farming. Coupled with the abundant sunshine and warm climes due to it being along the equator of the world has meant that they are always able to produce large yields of crops.
The Central provinces are a center of government, food production, and military prowess.
