The Order of the Lycan

The Order of the Lycan is a collection of highly skilled combat veterans who have taken on the curse of Lycanthropy in order to increase their combat prowess. They desire nothing more than to destroy every monster and evildoer who would threaten the peace of the kingdom. The Order currently resides in an underground enclave hidden in the Iron Mountains. Only its members know where the enclave is located, and they are loathe to reveal it to outsiders. Members of The Order frequently leave the enclave to enact their justice upon those they deem evildoers. They do this not for money or fame, although they will accept payment to fund The Order, but because they desire vengeance and justice. Order members are expected to give most, if not all, of their earnings to the Order's coffers in order to keep the organization alive and thriving.

Structure

A senior leader, chosen by challenging the previous leader in a trial by combat, leads the rest of the members. The other members are technically equal, but younger members are still expected to pay respect to older members.

Public Agenda

The public has little to no knowledge of The Order's agenda aside from their desire to wipe out monsters that would threaten the peace of the kingdom.
