Iruvian Deathland carnivorous tree whose sap has healing properties "Have you ever heard of the Iruvian Neheramir? It is a sacred carnivorous tree from the Deathlands and it tracks its prey before consuming them whole. Some sects of Iruvian noble families maintain a personal Neheramir and when a family member passes, part of them are fed to the Neheramir, allowing the tree to become a family tree and sacred because the ancestors must be honored.
Iruvians use dried Cataria leaves to dust the tree and cause it to hibernate to prevent accidental feedings and safe handling while collecting the healing sap. During festivals, they purposefully neglect to dust the trees and let loose rodents and small game within the homes to allow the trees to track and feed. Beautiful and majestic the Neheramirs bloom with vivid blood red flowers after feedings and their visage may appear differently in the ghost field depending on what they have fed upon recently. The Neheamir are rare to be found outside of Iruvia and while a few are within Akoros they are at the Iruvian Embassy and at the museum run by the Ministry of Preservation.
