Drow Elves

The Drow were once Highborne elves who were enticed through whispers and promises of great knowledge and power by the corrupted God Les'Corpius who pulled them to Ha'Dyss (commonly known as the underdark)and as they followed deeper into the abyss he bestowed them with power and knowledge of dark and terrible powers, but all things have a cost for these elves it was their connection to the light.
As these Highborne delved into the dark depths of the Tythis their appearance and minds began to change and a magical connection to the void formed. Over time these Elves harnessed new magics and with this new found power they made great cities in Ha'Dyss and began to enslave what they deemed lesser races. the Corrupted God Les'Corpius renamed his followers Drow (Dur'Quessir)

You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Drow Magic

You know the dancing lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the darkness spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
