The Last King of Arden

The players traverse the windswept reaches of the far north, uncovering the secrets of an ancient kingdom in the search for Ruth's husband Artus. Along the way, they learn of Gremshlaung, Gilduaen and Maiwen, the truth of their parentage, and of how Acererak ultimately betrayed them.
The journey will be very self driven, and will depend on the choices they make as they uncover clues and information.

Exposition

The story begins with Ruth searching for her husband Artus, a Seeker of Ioun. In the late stages of the year 1421 he left on a secretive mission to the north and did not return, prompting Ruth to go in search of him. Her consequent travels have taken her to the Isukan Valley, and as the stroy progresses into Icewind Dale.
As Ruth and her new companions track Artus's movements, they begin to uncover clues as to what he is seeking.
