Livaet
Basic Information
Anatomy
Livaet have two legs, two arms, and walk like humans. Their breasts are generally average sized, and they are normally on the thinner side but still average. They have elongated ears that have a point at the end, and these ears tend to stay close to their heads, making their ears not very obvious head-on.
Genetics and Reproduction
Livaet reproduce much like we do, except for the fact that it takes 12 months for the baby to grow enough for it to survive outside of its mother. The babies are also born much smaller than you'd expect, giving pregnant mothers a much less dramatic stomach. all of this is due to their taller stature.
Growth Rate & Stages
Livaet young are considered babies until 3 years old, toddlers until 9 years old, children until 15, "teenagers" until 21, and adults at 28. By 28, Livaet brains are fully developed. In fact, they're fully developed at 16, but this, in Livaet society, is considered too young to be considered an adult and given adult responsiblites (including a job, sexual relations with adults, and government issues.)
Dietary Needs and Habits
Livaet tend to eat a balanced diet, consisting of some of their favorite staple foods and some other foods that can be scarce but are greatly enjoyed. Their staple foods include fish, rice, seaweed, most vegetables, and some fruits. They eat twice a day, once when they wake up and once before they go to bed, and tend to have smaller portions of different foods instead of one big meal, even if it is all eaten at the same time.

Livaet, like all Tyreth races, have little to say about naming traditions, as they tend to pick something that simply sounds nice.
Major Organizations
The single major organization (which is known to the public) in the Livaet city is the group of priestesses and shirine maidens that work at the Temple of Peace, most commonly referred to as the Coven of the Serene Path.
Beauty Ideals
For women, Livaet beauty ideals outline the idea that women should ideally have clear skin (exluding vitiligo and birth marks), they should also have "virgin hair" (hair untouched by dye), and lastly they should have shorter hair.
For men, the ideal is long hair, styled in rather fancy braids, this hair should not be cut until he has done something criminal. Men should also have clear skin, soft hands, and ritual tattoos, which symbolize different gods that they worship and teachings they take to heart.
Keep in mind that these beauty ideals are just general outlines and that in more modern times, women have begun growing their hair out and braiding it the same as their male counterparts.

Women should be feminine and graceful, women are worshipped as the divine and should carry themselves as such. Women should also be knowledgeable and motherly.
Men should be graceful and knowledgeable, and carry themselves with elegance. Men are expected to be good fathers and understanding of the women in their lives.
Average Technological Level
Livaet are highly advanced and have helped the whole world advance tecnologically. They have brought personal A.I. systems to homes and labs, known as LANCE. The other most common robot is AVA, a physical A.I. system who is capable of walking around your home or lab and assisting you with various tasks.
Common Etiquette Rules
Common etiquette in the city is highly simple and mostly common sense, like not talking over others and yelling at or publically accusing people on the streets or in public places, like shops and restaurants.
Other rules can be more jarring for our kind, such as the acceptance of mild public nudity.
Common Dress Code
Women, being revered for their divine femininity, have been wearing traditional robes since ancient times that reveal a lot more than you'd expect. These robes usually have a very low neckline, or are folded in such a way that a womans breasts may be in partial or full view. This is not true for every female in the city, but the more traditional ones tend to dress like this most days.
Men generally wear clothes that make work in the lab more easy, but the garments are still flowy and elegant.
