Beeper comes from a long and noble bloodline of Dire Pulik - a species of large, fierce and intelligent wolfhounds that ranged across the northern wastes. Almost eradicated during a long past era of war and hunger the Pulik were saves by the nobility of the Ice Elves who bread them as prized hunting and guard dogs. It became a crime for any by the royal family to own the dogs.
