Tylacuse

Tylacuse is a large continent fit to bursting with a great many creatures and races of all kinds, from elves to shapeshifters to angelic beings and back to good old human. Whilst the entire land isn’t deeply explored in Skybound, a great deal of the political nature of each country and race is revealed throughout, and the disparity of expectations between all of them.   The terrain changes drastically as one travels through - from deserts, to river lands, to coastal cliffs and reefs, to southern peninsulas and to snowy peaks, with a myriad of different people living throughout. There are even tales of people living underwater, although there’s nothing to prove such rumours.   Tylacuse has one thing different from other worlds, however - magic. In some hands a dangerous, unruly thing, in others a simple and effective tool, the existence of it too varies greatly between different cultures. In Skybound, magic is explored both as a weapon and as a hindrance, rendered illegal in some places, revered in others. Having it is not always a blessing.
