Session 9 (22. 08. 2018)

Aella suddenly came back from the dead, but the group had little time to rejoice: as Fernando alerted the guards upstairs, all hell broke loose. The alarm immediately sounded throughout the prison block. Shegal, Gunter, Dagger and Lia all ran upstairs to help Fernando, while a still-weak Aella, along with Kim and Carthigan, stayed back. Fighting several Regency gunmen, the battle quickly went downhill. Fernando went down, nearly followed by Shegal. Meanwhile downstairs, Carthigan managed to take a sample of the substance that had transformed Atlas: it appeared to be ablooneum.
Under the cover of Dagger’s smoke bomb, the upstairs group sounded the retreat. They headed back downstairs, and the entire party left the prison through the sewers.
Once outside, they escaped through the forest. When they were a sufficient distance away, they found a suitable place for camp. Taking turns on watch, they had an uneasy rest. Dagger used the orb to try and locate Captain Drayfus again, and he was successful this time. As it turns out, the captain wasn’t in the prison: he was being led onto a Regency airship, with Cyred supervising, somewhere in the southeast.
In the morning, Dagger excitedly told everyone about this new development. Carth and Lia both used the orb to check on their loved ones: Carth’s ex-butler Geoffrey and Lia’s father, respectively. The group packed up and began heading towards the town of Pickendale, where Shegal had a contact.
