Session 2 (04. 07. 2018)

In the ablooneum cave, taking down the ooze together led to a tentative truce between the sky pirates and Braz, who remarked that she hadn’t been paid for some time and opted to join them. The group began siphoning bloo from the pipeline, but before they could finish, a group of Regency soldiers showed up to arrest them. After a threat by Marcus to blow up the pipe proved ineffective, the fight began in earnest. Kim soon went down to a lucky shot by the squad’s gunman, and shortly after, Braz managed to blow up the fuel tank on the immolator's back, which drew the battle to a surprise end. The explosion took down Chef, Morgyn and all four of the Regency troops.
While Lia scrambled to stabilize as many people as she could, Dagger proceeded to execute the downed immolator. In the end, Kim, Chef and Morgyn as well as two of the soldiers survived. Exhausted and shellshocked by everything that had just happened, the group opted to take a rest in the cave and let some of their downed members recover.
Afterwards, they returned to the clearing where the Tempest was supposed to be waiting for them - only it was nowhere to be found. They did discover cart tracks leading away from the site. They returned to the cave to question the surviving soldiers. They learned that Argus had betrayed the crew and sold Captain Drayfus out in exchange for the Tempest.
Since it was very late by now, they decided to camp for the night. Braz led them to an old abandoned bloo rig where they took turns standing on watch while the others slept. It was during the second watch that Morgyn heard a noise and asked Dagger to investigate. He found an owlbear, which unfortunately noticed him. As the beast bore down on the flimsy door they hid behind, the session drew to a close.
