Monestary of Kelemvor

Construction on this monastery was begun outside Ormpetarr in 1478 DR and was completed in 1480 DR. The priests of Kelemvor ministered to pilgrims undertaking their scar pilgrimage during the Spellplague, most of whom died during the experience. The monastery maintains a fighting force of monks and clerics. At the end of the Second Sundering (1482 DR to 1487 DR), most of the consequences that the Spellplague had wrought upon Toril were nowhere to be seen. The monestary had to refocus their service and worship once more.
