Twinned Stoneleaf

A tall hardwood that grows in pairs across the border of Gifreeth and Naruk. While its wood is strong and each trunk is sizable, the curvature in its branches make straight planks difficult to extract. The rounded branches provide a place for mist to congeal and disperse without collecting on its leaves, avoiding the worst of the Gray Expanse's ice mists.
As a result of the unusual shape of the twinned stoneleaf, traditional tuq norl houses often sport curved eaves and even roofs. The abundance of ashen beigmun means there is no shortage of straight planks, but tuq norl craftsmen have historically taken the curved boughs as a challenge. It is a rite of passage for tuq norlian woodshapers to craft their first rounded eave.
