A Prismatic Vista

Miles and miles of glittering plains, beautiful multicolored fungus forests, and rainbow-encrusted beaches are just a sampling of the Jeweled Land’s splendor. Arts and sciences come easily to Twinsun’s southern inhabitants, thanks to the sprawling abundance of varied animal, plant, and magic life available across every hill and valley. Beneath that glamor, however, lies a tenuous infrastructure that frequently pits the various southern countries against one another: the Jeweled Land is extremely poor in resources needed for construction and industry. Earthen metals, solid wood, and salt are all in short supply across all of the Jeweled Land. Only Kelliven, the nearly landlocked country in the heart of the continent, has any claim to the limited iron mines of the Kaleido Mountains, and even those great peaks have grown barren through the centuries.
