Bethra (beth-rah)

Population: Dense Demographics: Stone elves, dragonborn, human, dwarves, kireza; <1% skywise, neliss and runebound General Description: As the lowland border between most of the Gray Expanse and the Divide, Bethra is the seat of trade and diversity in the north. Its relatively flat and safe terrain is a stark contrast to the craggy earth present in the rest of the region, meaning that trade caravans and travelers all make a point of stopping in one of its many inns. Hospitality makes up for over one fifth of Bethra's annual GDP. While most of the Gray Expanse is undeveloped villages and meager farmland, large parts of Bethra are practically urban by comparison, thanks to southern empires bringing vast quantities of mycowood to bolster the construction of larger cities.
