Formed from the dying physical form of Saema during the Fall of the Underneath, the Godfall Peaks are home to the mountain dwarven city of Saema's Rest and were the site of a standoff between Imperial and Kosti troops that eventually led to the creation of The Duchy of Kostimar.

Name and Etymology

Originally known as Saema Kost in dwarvish, or "Saema's Bones", human societies opted for the simpler name of Godfall Peaks. This is the name officially recognized by The Exalted Imperium of Oriand and The Duchy of Kostimar, and has even seen some limited use amongst the dwarven holds.

Formation

The Godfall Peaks were formed from the dying physical form of Saema, God of Elemental Earth. Though Saema's spiritual form was saved, his physical form melded with the earth and rose up to create a vast range of mountains.

Natural Resources

Found only in the deepest mines, "divine gold" or "god's gold" is an extremely pure form of gold. It is highly prized due to being easy to enchant, making up most of the magical jewelry on Gracia.
The peaks are also home to many other mundane gold mines, which provide most of the gold used in Imperial coinage.
