Curse of sickness

The curse of sickness is a spell that causes a person to become extremely, ill which is some unknown and many times incurable disease. This could range from common diseases and illnesses such as colds, flu, fevers, and/or viruses and many times more serious diseases. Fortunately, these are usually infectious diseases that go away with treatment but can turn into chronic conditions if left to linger. Things such as organ damage, sepsis, or other chronic conditions can happen if the illness becomes bad enough.    Luckily there is a reversal spell or potion, as with any spell in existence. It can take a lengthy amount of time to acquire or the one doing the reversal spell has to be a higher rank. Sometimes it is treated traditionally, and the illness may go away by itself, although it may take longer than usual for it to happen. Sasha cast this spell on Luna which caused her to become extremely ill, so ill that the hospital couldn't do anything about it and she had to be in Legendere castle under careful supervision. Thanks to the help of Vladimir, Luna was able to get better without the use of magic, which was a big deal as Luna lives in an environment where magic is highly frowned upon. Because of that, Ronnie was hesitant to use magic to undo the curse on Luna, luckily, using some vampire plasma, they were able to put that in Luna and after a few treatments, she was back to normal. Ronnie was furious at Sasha and threatened her into leaving Luna alone as the stunt she pulled nearly cost Luna her life. Of course, being Sasha, she didn't listen and she used a few more spells on Luna. (Some petty jinxes, the only other "serious" one she did was turn Luna into a baby)

Effect

Causes a target to become extremely ill, as mentioned before it can range from any known infectious disease or be similar to those diseases. The target can acquire multiple symptoms making it difficult to properly diagnose them or have them be diagnosed with a single illness.

Side/Secondary Effects

While the spell itself can't cause any severe illness, the effects from the other illness may have serious effects. For example, if the spell causes a UPR (upper respiratory virus) it can lead to lung damage. Infectious diseases can also get into the bloodstream and causes sepsis which can cause organ failure and many times death. Injuries are also an effect of the spell become the person becomes very weak and is more prone to injuring themselves.

Manifestation

The magic from the spell is a transparent greenish-yellow color that is invisible to the target or non-magic people. Green is associated with sickness which is why the color is green. The spell has a slight odor that reminds someone of being sick, and when cast upon a person, they'll smell something that it'll remind them of being sick, such as a clean hospital room, sweat, blood, or something else they associate with being sick such as bleach, soup, etc.

Source

In order to properly do the spell you must acquire the germs of said illness you wish to cast upon your target. This could mean going to a hospital, finding a sick person and spreading some germs on the tip of your wand, or using a petri dish. This can be a very complicated and long process, and risky as well as if the magic user doesn't do it properly(without using proper protection) They themselves will become sick. Many times this doesn't happen as natural born witches/wizards and magic users have a strong immune system, which is why they are able to perform this spell, but there are always exceptions. People who were turned into witches/wizards are more prone to acquiring the illness, especially if they are in the first stages of their transformation.

Discovery

In the past, this spell was used by magic users to make a majority of people sick and make it easier for them to win wars and invade large territories. Usually, they would get a few groups of people sick, and the illness would spread, and once a large number of people were sick and too weak to fight them off, they would act. This was a popular war tactic back in the day, but now it's not used as much and has been considered immoral by some people because it can cause serious effects which lead to death. However, a lot of magic users are still open to using this spell and don't mind using it on non-magic people without hesitation due to their radical views of non-magic people being inferiors and weaker

Can only cause diseases that usually go away with treatment. In other words, can not cause serious diseases such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, organ failure, etc. One must also be careful where to cast the spell as it may accidentally hit someone else and cause them to become sick and the spell will have to be redone. This is frustrating and time-consuming as the magic user will have to take the tip of their want and contaminate it with germs of the illness they wish to use. This can be difficult and time-consuming, not to mention risky as if done without proper protections and precautions, the magic user may get sick themselves.
