Imp

Folk tale monsters, little ugly-looking creatures who live in wild corners of the world, and only come out to play during twilight. Imprs are known to sow chaos, and sometimes make deals with mortals for their own amusement. While they're held strictly to the letter of their contracts, they can be creative in finding ways to torment the humans who deal with them.
Whether they are considered villainous, helpful or neutral varies wildly between regions.
Imps have been attested in Madaran folklore for hundreds of years. Little impish figures of clay or stone appear at crossroads sometimes, and in some regions, people bury talismans of them in their gardens.
