Elladorian Trade Council

The trade council is the ruling body of the Concord of Ellador. It's comprised of members of between seven and thirteen of the largest, most powerful and wealthy guild and trade families in all of Ellador. Most of these are families established in one of Ellador's five great trade ports, of which Sturia is the largest, and nominally the capital.
Councilors are chosen by their families and the premier is elected by the councilors. Premiership ostensibly lasts for ten years, but powerful individuals have been known to hold sway for double or triple that time. The current premier of Ellador is Aktain Drez.
